Rate of people who like to stay home for their spare time is growing again. There was a similar tendency or short trend for some years after the 2008 global financial crisis. What is different now compared to the times?
1. People think of 'value over price(time)' and put it on their priority. Consumers become more mature regardless of their income.
2. Single household is now more than 28% of the entire number of households in Korea. They know how to play and spend their quality time alone.
3. Due to technological innovation, they have better options for food choice, entertainment, fitness, and working home.
Various and huge opportunities are open in the area. So, we will see more dynamics in the related industries next year. New companies will introduce innovative services or products while existing companies would offer improved ones. Particularly, big and small companies invest in pet care, home fitness, and home entertainment now.
